KnowledgeHub is a hosted (ASP) solution. Because the LMS software resides on our servers, there is no need for clients to configure, install or maintain an LMS or database. Back-end integration leverages existing applications and databases, reducing maintenance and errors.

For the organization that has an established LMS or some other enterprise-wide software application which houses employee information, Element K can provide a tightly integrated learning experience where KnowledgeHub becomes an "extension" of the core application. This configuration allows the student to take full advantage of the Element K online experience to access courses, reference materials, labs, and other learning modalities. All other platform functionality is provided by the core application, including cataloging and reporting. Data is moved back and forth between the systems and ultimately stored in the local database.
The KnowledgeHub "extension" is neutrally branded, or can be further customized to carry the look of the core application.

For organizations that prefer to host all content locally, Element K provides courses on CD ROMS or through an FTP site. Services to implement these courses in the client environment, including work required to make courses "play" in non-conformant environments are also available.
