EC-Council
The first choice for EC-Council certification training
The International Council of Electronic Commerce Consultants (EC-Council) is an international organization of academicians, industry practitioners and e-Business professionals. Members include representatives from a broad range of industries, including: education, information technology, healthcare, manufacturing, financial services, training, communications, and government.
Established in the USA and headquartered in New York, EC-Council hosts members and affiliates worldwide. The EC-Council member body has representatives from Microsoft® Corporation, IBM® Global Services, SONY®, Motorola®, Quantum Research®, Cisco®, and Verizon® among others. EC-Council certification programs are established on a universal set of standards upon which both strategic management and human resource departments can rely upon.
The EC-Council certification is based on definitions of job functions and skill sets in three key areas: technical expertise, content resource management, and business process management. These definitions have been developed by a broad coalition of industry and academic experts, and the skill set definitions have been adopted by the U.S. Department of Labor.
