ROCHESTER, NY, November 30, 2009 -- Element K recently garnered two coveted Brandon Hall awards f
or excellence: Best Custom Content (Silver), and Best Innovation in Learning Technology (Bronze). Selections were based on potential impact, applicability, ease of adoption and overall value for learning professionals.
The Silver medal winning custom course, The Green Grid – Metrics and Measures, presents strategies for measuring and managing the environmental footprint of the modern data center. This story-based learning experience featured advanced media capabilities, including 3D avatars who navigate a virtual data center in pursuit of more environmentally-friendly operating
approaches.
Incorporation of Web 2.0 collaboration tools into the KnowledgeHub LMS to support informal learning earned Element K the Bronze Innovation in Learning Technology award.
