1. Reservation System Rollout – A branded training program hosted on a custom website with multiple custom courses designed to teach thousands of employees at hundreds of properties how to use a new reservation system simultaneously. Custom courses are created using application screenshots along with step-by-step procedures and company-specific examples. Courses are supplement with custom virtual labs (vLabs®) that invoke the reservation application on Element K servers, along with a replica of the company database. Employees work with the "live" application and "real" data in advance of the actual rollout. The solution (courses and labs) are accessed remotely from all locations from Element K's Learning Platform – KnowledgeHubTM, and the whole rollout is simulated and tested before the application is every used to check in a single guest.

Using the solution, the client prepares all of its properties and employees before the rollout occurs, minimizing the risk of failures that cause grief for guests and embarrassment for the company. All employees are trained simultaneously at their home location accelerating the launch and saving immeasurable training dollars. Once training is established, it is available to new employees on an ongoing basis.

2. Comprehensive Employee Development – A branded training website in four languages with predefined training paths by job role to train all front-line, operational, and managerial employees of large hospitality firm. The training includes Catalog e-Learning, custom content (including brand, process and application related training), and third party content to cover specific compliance issues, all hosted on Element K"s Learning Platform – KnowledgeHubTM. The multiple brand hierarchy allows separate site access, tracking, reporting, and brand identity for each of the organization's chains. Localization presents the learning site in German, French, Italian, Spanish, and English, based on student language preference. Training paths are designed for each major job role; training is tracked at headquarters to determine progress by brand, property, and job type.

Using the solution, the client consolidates all requisite training in a single database. This has the advantages of reduced cost, improved training consistency, and for the first time the ability to compare training investment by brand and location and correlate training investment with business results.
