Online training is now an integral part of the overall training strategy for many organizations, so it is essential that the training be accessible to all individuals. Element K is committed to providing accessible products by exceeding the standards listed in Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and designing our products with an enhanced level of usability not addressed by the standards alone.

Element K works with accessibility experts to get a detailed analysis of our products. Product reviews by accessibility consultants ensure that we are aware of the latest advances in technologies, accessibility design and feedback for product enhancement planning purposes.

Client Collaboration

Our commitment to working with clients to identify improvement opportunities drives many of our accessibility and usability enhancements.  Merely satisfying the requirements defined in Section 508 and W3C’s WCAG 1.0 guidelines is not always enough to provide a product that is truly useful to a person with disabilities.

Element K’s efforts to collaborate with U.S. Federal government, U.S. State and Local Government, International Clients, Higher Education and most importantly, members of the disability and aging community, ensures not only an accessible solution, but has enabled us to develop products and solutions that have enriched our relationship with individuals with disabilities who require accessible solutions.
