Equal Access for All.
At Element K, our accessibility goal is to provide all users with equal access to, and use of, our online learning solutions. This includes users with disabilities. Our goal is manifest in the meaningful progress we have made in making our LMS and our best-of-class content comply with U.S. regulations (Section 508) and, more importantly, in making them usable and accessible to everyone. To be certain that we're meeting our customers' needs, we work closely with clients from our vast customer base who are directly and indirectly affected by accessibility issues. We have dedicated sizable development hours to support our commitment to accessibility.
Element K works closely with Accessibility Partners, LLC, an accessibility consulting firm that is highly specialized in accessibility standards (Section 508) and guidelines (W3C Web Accessibility Initiative - Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0). In addition to the Accessibility Partners team, Element K also works with users with disabilities to periodically review our products and help us understand "real world" usage of our accessibility features. Product reviews by these accessibility experts generate awareness of the latest advances in accessibility design and provide valuable feedback for product enhancement planning purposes. Based on their recommendations, we continue to introduce enhancements that we believe provide users with disabilities with material benefits in their daily use of our solutions.
